Tried to do a bike this time. There are plenty of spots that could be much more detailed but I had to finish it...

I really like Marine Bikers, always liked the idea of Astartes easy riders. Unfortunately on tables they are only seen on rare occasions.

Whats you opinion on SM-Bike squads?

I don't use bikes for my main army, Salamanders, but this picture is acutally making me think of getting some for my Blood Angel Allies. :)

The Imperial Fists are so under played but you greatly captured how in any Chapter there are those who can handle high speed battle. The angle in which he is turned I can only guess that he is looking off into the distance guessing how long it will take him and his battlers to flank the enemy.

As for my opinion on bikes...I love them. I run a whole 2000 point bike army. Captain on bike makes all bike units that have 5 or more bikes in them Troop units. Couple that with Stormtalons and your talking about serious firepower. Well that and Predators with autocannons and heavy bolters.

I also like the concept of Bike Attacks. Having a smaller, highly mobile Strike force that can hit the Enemy fast and hard is a very satisfactory thing. The problem in previous 40k editions was that they were way to point intensive and i therefore didn't own lots of them. But i have to get some more now i guess....

Oh, I like SM Bike squads! They look cool. But you know, it's not the best choice. Players almost never used it.

Yeah. I mean I do see people using Warbikes or Reaver Jetbikes. I think this is because they have some clear strengths (Much shooting, dealing damage while flying around with a invul. save roll) whilst space marine Bikes do not have. They don't have the firepower of warbikes, do not really have melee strengths etc and harassing units on the back is better done by assault squads I would not know how to use the bikes properly
